In order to secure the booking, each rental item you select we request a payment up front which is due when the terms and conditions have been read and payment has been made online.
This is a non-refundable retainer which will secure Event Wall’s services for the date of the event and bookings cannot be confirmed until this money has been received. The remaining balance is then due three weeks prior to the date. Please click here for more information on our Refunds & Cancellations policy.
The rental period will start on the day of the event and run to the next working day after the event inclusive and Event Wall’s will arrange a suitable time for collection of the equipment. The client agrees to the designated time for delivery and collection of the equipment prior to the date, which will be communicated via email or text.
Event Wall’s agrees to hire equipment for the purpose of your event. Availability may be limited and reservations are made on a first come first served basis, validated by the deposit and signed contract.
All of our kit is fully insured with a £250 excess. In the unlikely event that Event Wall’s should have to make a claim, the client is responsible for the £250 excess in full. The equipment will be left in the care of the client in good working condition and any damage, loss or theft of the equipment whilst in their care, will be charged to the client up to a maximum of £250. In the case of loss, damage or theft of the equipment, the client agrees to contact Event Wall’s immediately and we cannot be responsible for the resulting lack of equipment.
Denial Of Service
We reserve the right to refuse rental service to anyone at anytime where we deem it is in our best interest on the basis of lack of safety precaution, or likelihood of abuse.
We may also refuse rental service at anytime and our obligation under any contract executed will be void should we discover that the intended use of the equipment presents a serious safety hazard and/or violates any constitutional or by law.
The client agrees to examine the equipment & any required batteries, before the event to ensure that they are in good working order. If there are any technical or operator issues at this point, the client agrees to raise them with Event Wall’s. The client also agrees to ensure the equipment is collected in the same condition as received, ordinary wear and tear accepted. The client is solely responsible for the equipment, and those who use it, whilst it is in their possession and accepts full responsibility for loss or damage to the equipment. The client is solely responsible for ensuring that the equipment is in use throughout the course of the event.
You agree to indemnify Event Wall’s and it’s employees and agents from and against any and all losses, damages, claims, or liability of any kind whatsoever, including legal expenses, arising from the use, condition (including, without limitation, latent or other defects) or operation of the equipment, and by whosoever used or operated the equipment during the rental term. Event Wall’s are not responsible for accident or injury caused directly or indirectly by the use of the rented equipment.
